about

Recorded just prior to Crifasi's departure from Chicago in 2002, this EP was written over the course of several afternoon songwriting sessions between Crifasi and pianist and composer, Miki Greenberg, (Maestro Subgum and the Whole). Then a member of the guitar faculty at The Old Town School of Folk Music in Chicago, Crifasi enlisted the talents of fellow OTS music faculty and friends to weave together the sounds and arrangements for the four songs heard here.

Tracks "Go" and "Blue Light" were also included in Greenberg's two-cd set, Retrospectacle: Selections from the First 15 Records, released in 2004 with "Go" being distributed that same year at SXSW as part of a special compilation called Another Dreamer.

This EP reissue comes as the first in several releases for Crifasi in 2014, including a new collection of songs slated for debut at the end of the year.
